Hero Salute Program Extended Through 2009 The tribute program that provided free admission to Anheuser- Busch theme parks to more than 900,000 members of U.S. and coalition armed forces and their Families has been extended through 2009. Anheuser-Busch launched "Here's to the Heroes" in February 2005 to acknowledge the service of military men and women and the sacrifices made by their Families. The program provides one complimentary single-day admission, per year, to any one SeaWorld or Busch Gardens parks, Sesame Place, Adventure Island or Water Country USA for the servicemember and as many as three of his or her direct dependents. For additional information visit www.herosalute.com ACAP Services are now available Online In an effort to improve its service to our Soldiers, ACAP is implementing ACAP Express, which will streamline access to ACAP services and give Soldiers more autonomy in setting up and using those services. The most important change to how we will now serve Soldiers is that they will now have the ability to go online at any time, from any location, to the ACAP EXPRESS web site (https://www.acapexpress.army.mil), log in using AKO login, then schedule appointments for all services offered at the ACAP Center. ACAP Express will be available for use by transitioning Soldiers as of Thursday, 28 Feb 08. Additionally, some of the tools previously available only within the ACAP Centers during normal business hours will now be available online. One of those features will allow transitioning Soldiers to hone their resumes from any computer with internet access, and then email it to their ACAP counselor for review. A second feature will allow Soldiers in remote locations to use some of the services normally provided by ACAP only at installations. Are you new to USAREC?
