The Commanding General Initiative Group

Welcome The Commanding General's Initiative Group serves as the executive advisor to the Commanding General, USAREC on recruiting systems, processes, innovations, and concepts. Acts as the Commanding General's authoritative source for recruiting research, reinvention, systems, and business process improvements. Responsible for applying the principles and theories of management science and operations research to solve problems that have previously resisted resolution. The Commanding General's Initiative Group maintains effective communication and engagement with Internal (USAREC) and external agencies focused on strategic level recruiting issues. Crafts and synchronizes messages across multiple formats for dissemination; prepares executive level briefings for Congress, the Secretary of the Army, and others.
