Volunteer Awards Program
ATTENTION: Spouse award packets should arrive at HQ USAREC at least six weeks prior to desired presentation date. All spouses of Soldiers who depart USAREC receive a "Spouse Appreciation Certificate" and any other awards that they are qualified to receive.
It is important that DEERS records get updated when personal eligibility information changes. This includes changes in military career status; addresses; and Family status (marriage, divorce, birth, and adoption) etc. Contact your Soldier and Family Assistance Program Manager for assistance.
Volunteer Management Information System (VMIS)
VMIS is an online data base system designed to maintain volunteer records. Volunteers must register with Army OneSource to access VMIS. For more information, visit the Army OneSource web site at http://www.myarmyonesource.com/
In accordance with AR 608-1, all individuals providing volunteer service to USAREC must have a signed Volunteer Agreement on file with the organization in which they are volunteering.
