USAREC 2016 Civilian Employee of the Year Recognition Program
 
Civilians of the year recognized

Maj. Gen. Jeffrey Snow, U.S. Army Recruiting Command commanding general, announced the results for the headquarters USAREC 2016 Civilian Employee of the Year Recognition Program during a ceremony today on Fort Knox, Kentucky.

"This prestigious program recognizes outstanding civilian employees for their technical or supervisory competence, impact within USAREC, and community service and special efforts," Snow said.

The winners are:

  • Kennedy Wesson, human resources assistant (MIL/OA), G-3/5, for Outstanding Technical or Program Support Employee.
  • Walter Quinn, public affairs specialist, G7/9, for Outstanding Program Specialist Employee.
  • Bessie Harts, supervisory paralegal specialist, Staff Judge Advocate, for Outstanding Supervisory Employee.
There were no nominees for Outstanding Organizational Support Employee and Outstanding Professional Employee.

"I am profoundly moved and humbled to be nominated and selected as one of the U.S. Army Recruiting Command HQs Civilians of the Year," Quinn said.

Runners up were:

  • David Simpson, human resources specialist, G1
  • Ed Kopp, paralegal specialist, SJA
  • Natasha Kondrasiewicz, facilities operations specialist, HHC
  • Wanda Edwards, human resource specialist (MIL), HSD
  • Jonathan Norton, program analyst, G3/5
"Well done to our great civilian workforce! We couldn't do what we do every day without you," Snow said. "Thanks for making a difference."

The winners now have the opportunity to compete for the command-wide Civilian EOY Recognition Program.
