Civilian employees from Army Recruiting Command, Cadet Command and Human Resources Command

USAREC, USAAC and HRC civilians take UofL
leadership course

By USAREC Public Affairs
May 10, 2016

Twenty-five civilian employees from Army Recruiting Command, Cadet Command and Human Resources Command recently completed a two-month leadership course taught by the University of Louisville.

Attending class once a week, students studied a variety of topics including effective leadership, management, supervision, extraordinary problem solving, and maximizing leadership effectiveness and efficiency.

Students were given group assignments to help meet the goals of their respective commands and then participated in team projects to identify problems and develop potential solutions.

The course is offered to provide civilians with the opportunities to develop leadership and problem solving skills, according to USAREC Deputy Chief of Staff Col. Brad Luebbert.

Participants received the University of Louisville Professional Development's "Certificate of Management Development."
