FORT KNOX, Ky. -- Thirty-two Soldiers from across the Army graduated from the Recruiting and Retention School's Senior Leader Course today at Fort Knox, Kentucky. The strenuous, three-week course is required for promotion to sergeant first class and provides Soldiers, selected for promotion, the opportunity to acquire the knowledge; experience; and leader, technical and tactical skills necessary to lead platoon and company sized units.
This is the second class to graduate from the course since it moved to the RRS from Fort Jackson, South Carolina, Oct. 18. Almost 600 Soldiers are scheduled to take the course in fiscal year 2017.
