BG Kevin Vereen
BG Kevin Vereen was born at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, and is a native of Fayetteville. He graduated from Campbell University in North Carolina in 1988.

BG Vereenís military assignments include: Platoon Leader and Fire Direction Officer, 18th ABN Corps Artillery, Fort Bragg, NC; Battery Executive Officer, A Battery, 1/4th FA Battalion, 2d ID, Camp Pelham, Korea; Operations Officer, US Army Intelligence & Security Command, Fort Belvoir, VA; S-3 Plans Officer, 759th Military Police Battalion, Fort Carson, CO; Company Commander,

BG Vereen’s military and civilian schools include:  United States Army Airborne and Air Assault Schools, Field Artillery Officer Basic Course, Military Police Officer’s Advance Course, Protective Services Course, Psychological Operations and Civil Affairs Course, Command and General Staff College, Spanish Language School, and the United States Army War College.  He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from Campbell University, a Master’s Degree in International Relations from Troy State University, and a Master’s Degree in Strategic Studies from the United States Army War College.  He is an active member of the Military Police Regimental Association (MPRA) and the International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP).

BG Vereen’s military awards include: the Legion of Merit w/2 OLC; Bronze Star Medal; Meritorious Service Medal w/4 OLC; Army Commendation Medal  w/3 OLC; and the Army Achievement Medal w/1 OLC; National Defense Service Medal; Global War on Terrorism Medal; Iraqi Campaign Medal; Korean Defense Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal.
